Hands-On Fermentation at TEALS

5th February | Somerset

Join our Founder, Peter, for a three-hour, hands-on fermentation workshop hosted at one of our favourite Somerset farm shops, TEALS. This session is designed to demystify fermentation—from understanding what happens during the process, to learning how salt percentages vary across recipes, and how to ferment confidently and safely at home.

You’ll spend the morning learning, asking questions, and creating your own jars of ferment to take home—based on one of our CULTJAR recipes. The workshop concludes with a delicious lunch and the opportunity to taste a selection of CULTJAR favourites.

Live Well at The Newt

LIVE WELL Nourish Retreat | 28–30 January

For those seeking a more immersive January reset, Peter will also be leading a fermentation workshop as part of The Newt’s LIVE WELL Nourish Retreat. This self-guided experience brings together fermentation, winter nutrition and seasonal living.

Alongside Peter’s session, the retreat includes a winter nutrition talk from Jasmine Hemsley, a productive garden tour, a guided lunch at the Garden Café, and access to walks, yoga and spa facilities—allowing you to engage at your own pace.
