A punchy combination of aniseed, citrus and background heat. It’s great with oily fish or deliciously fatty grilled meats. Like many of our other ferments and pickles, it sits wonderfully on a crostini or bruschetta or partnered salami and cured meats. It also works well with Liguarian sandwiches made with focaccia, prosciutto (or finocchiona) and cheese. We like to enjoy with any drink that includes a healthy dose of Campari.
