Omiyage was born from our collaboration with KOYA, the celebrated London noodle bar co-founded by Shuko Oda. The collection brings together KOYA’s approach to Japanese cooking with the ingredients, growing and preserving that sit at the heart of everything we do at CULTJAR.

The name comes from the Japanese tradition of omiyage: bringing back a gift from your travels to share with friends, family or colleagues. It feels fitting for a collection designed to bring some of KOYA's flavours into your own kitchen.

And now there are two new jars to discover: Crunchy Umami Oil and Negi Ginger Sauce.

NEW: Crunchy Umami Oil

Moreish and versatile, with deep umami flavour from kombu and shiitake mushrooms, alongside crispy onions and almonds adding satisfying crunch. This umami oil is rich and savoury - the kind of condiment you'll find yourself reaching for again and again. Spoon over grilled or poached chicken, steamed fish, vegetables, or whisk into a salad dressing.

NEW: Negi Ginger Sauce

Fresh ginger and spring onion are brought together with KOYA's original soy blend, creating a sauce with gentle sweetness, bright acidity and plenty of depth. Delicate enough for steamed fish and vegetables, yet bold enough to transform fried tofu. For the ultimate comfort food, try a spoonful on top of a hot bowl of congee.

The Omiyage Collection

Omiyage (お土産) is the Japanese tradition of bringing back souvenirs or gifts after travelling. And what better way to gift omiyage than with our Omiyage Collection; the perfect gift from Koya. We're positive that any food lovers will be incredibly happy with these delicious jars!
