Beetroot, Juniper & Black Pepper

A ruby sauerkraut with red and white cabbage, robust earthy beetroot and a little kick of black pepper. 300g.

This vibrant ferment brings colour and sweetness to any plate. Its earthy flavours are perfect for a variety of dishes:

On top of freshly toasted bread, smeared with ricotta and drizzled with olive oil – A simple yet delicious snack or light meal.

As a topping for avocado on toast, accompanied by smoked salmon – This earthy ferment pairs perfectly with creamy avocado and smoky salmon.

Sprinkled over a goat’s cheese salad – The sweetness of the beetroot complements the tang of the goat’s cheese.

Served on top of a creamy pea soup – A lovely contrast to the smoothness of the soup, adding crunch and flavour.

With roast ham – The earthy sweetness of Up Beet pairs perfectly with the savoury richness of roast ham. 

In a blue cheese burger – A unique twist on the classic burger, enhancing the sharpness of the blue cheese.

Inside a brie toastie – The perfect topping for a melty brie toastie, adding crunch and a burst of flavour.

Ingredients: White cabbage, Beetroot (28%), Red cabbage, Juniper (0.5%), Black pepper (0.3%).

All of the ingredients are organic and the recipe is made in the CULTJAR certified organic kitchen.

Liked the taste but would have preferred addition of some other ingredients to balance with the beet.
